1. The displayed base price is subject to change dependent on character complexity, medium, and size of each individual piece.
2. Clear references such as reference sheets and/or detailed descriptions should be given by the client at time of commission inquiry.
3. Payments are to be made in USD (United States Dollar) or points only. Please refer to a credible currency converter for proper pricing.
4. Payments under 25 dollars are to be paid up-front before the preliminary work is done.
5. Payments over 25 dollars may be paid in two sections (i.e. half before, half after).
6. Clients will have the opportunity to direct alterations to a thumbnail sketch once it has been completed (i.e. add scarf, bigger claws, longer tail, etc.). After the lining stage, $1 will be charged for every alteration.
7. If a client wishes to cancel a commission during the sketching stage, they will be refunded 50% of what they paid.
8. If a client wishes to cancel a commission during or after the lining stage, they will not be issued a refund.
9. The artist reserves the right to issue a refund and cancel a commission due to poor communication, inability to communicate effectively in English, rude or inappropriate behavior, and other problematic circumstances.
10. The artist ensures that the client will receive commission updates when necessary. Clients are encouraged to check in when necessary for updates, assurance, or reminders.
11. The artist will not handle depiction of illegal activities, sexually explicit (x-rated) materials, body horror, or hateful images. When it comes to fetishes, violence, or blood, work will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The artist reserves the right to reject any commission for any reason.
12. The artist retains the right to display all commissioned work on any personal website, gallery, or journal. If the commissioned work is a time-sensitive gift the Artist may delay public showcase at the explicit request of the Client.
13. The artist retains ALL the rights to any commissioned artwork (aside from the original character(s) depicted), including the right to make prints and merchandise.
14. The client retains all rights to their respective original characters. This does not allow them the rights to the commissioned image as described above.
15. The client may not profit from the artwork beyond the resale of the physical original painting or drawing (applicable to traditional media, not digital). The client may not profit from the sale of the digital files or rights to the image.
16. The client cannot alter the artwork itself.
17.The client may upload the artwork to their personal website or gallery. Proper credit is required if the client choses to do so (i.e. a link back, etc.).
18. An extra fee will be added for clients who wish to use the commissioned artwork for more than the originally specified medium.
19. The client must read, understand, and agree to all the above terms before entering into an agreement with the artist. By sending payment, the client agrees to the above terms.
